- Technical: basic device info (user agent) and timestamps

- To contact you with early access updates and onboarding instructions
- To plan city rollouts and prioritize features
- To improve sign-up experience and prevent spam/abuse
Legal basis & our commitments
- Consent: you opt in to receive waitlist updates and can opt out anytime.
- Legitimate interests: to secure our service (e.g., App Check / anti-abuse) and operate analytics if enabled.
- We do not sell your data. We only share with service providers that help us run Hayce (e.g., Firebase) under appropriate safeguards.
Security & retention
We use industry-standard safeguards and platform protections (including Google Firebase security rules and App Check) to reduce misuse. We retain waitlist data until launch planning is complete or you request deletion, whichever is earlier.
